Ford Repair: 1998 Contour Front Brake Rotor Removal, mapp gas torch, brake rotor removal

I am having an issue removing the front left brake rotor.  It seems to not want to come off with a little persuasive action or using a puller.  I used a MAPP gas torch to heat it up with both methods and it's stuck tight.  Not budging at all.  I don't know if I am missing something, like taking off any clips or anything, I always seen rotors come off with ease compared to this!

That rust can sure make extra work sometimes. Glad to hear you conquered that problem. Be sure to clean the hubs real good, with something like a wire brush, before putting new rotors on. A very small amount of a high temp brake lube works good to prevent the rust buildup in that area.
