Ford Repair: 88 F-150 dies after running, iv systems, motorcraft

Question
I have a 88 F-150 with the 6 cyl 4.9. It dies after a short while of driving and will not start again for 20-45 min. I know it is not getting any spark at the plug during the time it will not start. It seems to do it more when the weather is warmer. I have changed the coil, distributer, plugs, wires, ignition control module, and the relay. Any ideas?

Thank You

Answer
Did you have any codes, or just replaced parts hoping to fix it? If you used an aftermarket igniton module, as in cheap, these are not reliable. I recommend Motorcraft or NAPA. The module would have been my first guess, but it could also be the stator inside the distributor. I have not seen many coils fail on the EEC-IV systems.
