Ford Repair: Mustang Brake Booster, road race car, manual brakes

Not sure if this qualifies a normal repair question. I am modifiying my 02 Mustang GT into a road race car (track only car). I would like to remove the power steering unit and replace with a manual, however as you know I have a "Hydro Booster". I don't really want to replace the brake system with manual brakes. Is there a way to retain the brake system I have but disable the hydro boost? I want to remove the power steering pump and lines for weight savings.

  That's a good question.  To be perfectly honest, I have no clue.  However, I know who will know.  I'd get ahold of someone at Maximum Motorsports.  Those guys are all about road racing Mustangs.  They'll know for sure (and they'll probably have the parts to get it done).  Hope this helps.
