Ford Repair: Replacing Explorer rear wiper, ford explorer xlt, 1998 ford explorer xlt

Question
I have a 1998 Ford Explorer XLT, V6 automatic, 2WD. The other day I was transporting mattresses and had them tied to to the top. Unfortunately, they slid off the back end and hit my rear wiper on the way down. The metal snapped in half near the connection to the vehicle. The blade is fully intact and the tubing for the washer fluid was undamaged. The motor is still working fine. What I would like to know is how to go about replacing the whole thing myself. I see the nut and I have been able to remove it, but once it is off, I am unsure what I need to do. Also, where might I be able to find an entire wiper to buy? Will I have to go through Ford?

Thanks!
