Ford Repair: Brakes, brake light switch, ford explorer

Question
Ford Explorer 1999
I changed the brakes on my explorer this weekend, the brakes work fine but now I don't have any brake lights.  I checked the fuses and found nothing wrong but I have not checked the bulbs as of yet.  It would seem that it would not be the bulbs due to the fact that they are both not working now.
Any Hints?

Answer
Hi Brad,
After you check the bulbs, check the brake light switch. Disconnect the connector from the switch (located on the brake pedal)use a paper clip and short between the 2 wires on the connector. The lights should work. If they do, you have a bad switch. Replace the switch.
