Ford Repair: power windows, explorer xlt, power windows

i have a 2002 explorer xlt
the drivers door window will run just down not up called ford the suggested the motor so i bought one same thing and suggestions

Hello and thanks for the question...I'll try to help.
Before going out and getting a new motor, did you check for power at the motor when the switch is in both positions? (up and down)
That is where I would start and work from there.
