Ford Repair: A/C, ford mustang, default position

Question
I have a 1995 Ford Mustang 3.8 6 cyl. About 2 weeks ago everything started blowing out the defrost vents. I took the switch off and found that there is no vaccum in the lines. I traced the lines and everything was in place with no leaks that I could find and there are two that run into the dash that I have no clue where they are going. The A/C blows cold and the heat works but nothing comes out of the vents. Didn't know if there is something that I should be looking for before I take it into a shop to see what is going on. Thanks for any help.

Answer
Hello and thanks for the question...I'll try to help.
I would check where the line (1) attatches to the engine, under the hood. See if there is a blockage at the engine nipple (carbon or line off/cracked). The system goes back to a default position and has limted flow direction when there is no vac.
Hope this helps,
Erik
