Ford Repair: Signal Light problems, signal light problems, ford tempo

I have a '91 Ford Tempo LX.  When I start the ignition with the signal fuse in place, the hazard lights constently flash.   I can still use the turn signals indedendantly, but the hazards contine to flash after the turn signal is turned off.  I have also made sure that the switch is pulled.

Hello and thanks for the question...I'll try to help.
 I would check a few things....the cheapest is the 4way flasher.....about 3.00--replace it. Next I would suggest that you check the headlamp switch. See if it is melted and also, check the connector. Next and last, check the function and condition of the turn signal lever/switch.
