Ford Repair: DANA 20 TRANSFER CASE 1976 BRONCO, yoke, good hope

Ken,I just picked up a dana 20 t case and shifting through the gears I noticed the front yoke appears to be engaged instead of the rear when placed in 2hi. All other combinations appear to work properly.Any ideas? Thanx J.W.

There were some years that the yoke engaged on the front as opposed to the rear. I know that on the 1968 Bronco in engaged on the front. I do not know how many years before or after that engaged on the front as opposed to the rear.

I recommend checking the front yoke and make sure that all the bearings and seals are good. Hope that this helpsd and if you need further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact me. Good luck.
