Ford Repair: Seatbelt, salvage yard, ford escort

I have a 92 ford escort and the seatbelt cable that runs through motor to pull seat belt back and forth is shot. Can I order just the cable or do I have to order complete motor and cable. Also how hard is it to replace?

Your best bet is to go to a reputable salvage yard to get one as they are quite expensive to purchase but NOT hard to replace. Depending on the type, sometimes you can just replace the cable and sometimes you have to replace it as a complete unit.
