Ford Repair: Water Pump, ford f150 4x4, backyard mechanic

Question
I have a 1994 Ford F150 4x4 with a 351 engine auto transmission with 108,000 miles on it.  I am loosing antifreeze and it looks as if it is coming from the lower left seal on the water pump.  Not a lot but I don't want it to get too bad.  Would replacing the water pump be the logical thing to do here?  Also will I need any special tools to remove the fan/clutch assembly and do I need to remove the radiator to perform this task and is this something that a backyard mechanic could do?

Answer
Hello and thanks for the question...I'll try to help.
I would make sure that it's the water pump and NOT the front cover that is leaking. The water pump has a seal that goes all the way around it, not left/right/up/down.
Use this link if you are positive that it is the pump:

Hope this helps,
