Ford Repair: 93 Escort wont start, starter solenoid, auto transmission

Question
Our daughters car won't start the battery is fine , the starter is turning. It still won't turn over when you turn the key there is a small click but that is all. It's a 93 1.9 4 cylinder sedan auto transmission. There is power to other things, we checked all the fuses. Could it be the ignition switch on the colum? Thanks for your help

Answer
Hello and thanks for the question... I'll try to help.
What I would do first is let's look at the starter solenoid(s)......If you can-- take a look -- is there a solenoid on the fire wall/fender? Or is there just ONE on top of the starter?
After answering this, I'll be able to guide you to a better diagnosis.
Thanks,
Erik
