Ford Repair: replacing front rotors on 2002 E150, spinning the wheel, allexperts

   I wanted to know what the adjustment is on the nut that holds the rotor and bearing assembly on the front end of a 2002 E 150.

Hi Walter,
If you repack the bearing then you need to squuese out most of the new grease from the bearings. Spin the wheel and tighten as tight as you can with a set of channel locks, keep spinning the wheel and tightening. Then back off 1 turn then tighten slightly until all free play is gone (about 1/2 to 3/4 turn).
