Ford Repair: PVC Location on 1999 Mountaineer, mercury mountaineer, pvc valves

Question
I want to remove & replace the PVC valve on my 1999 Mercury Mountaineer (8 cyl.). I have the new part (to know exactly what it looks like) and I have replaced PVC valves on other cars, including Fords in the past, especially when it was so easy to find (at the top of the valve cover).  I just cannot locate it anywhere on or near the visible parts of the engine of this vehicle.
After reading generic instructions on where to find the PVC, I couldn't find it. I went to a couple of websites and saw other Q&As on the same subject, and still couldn't find it. Help!

Answer
I have an exploded-view picture of the 5.0L engine, and it shows the PCV Valve installed on the middle-rear of the lower intake manifold.  The PCV Hose runs from the valve to the left side of the upper intake, by where the Throttle Body mounts.

I hope this helps,
Dave
