Ford Repair: abs module 2001 ford winstar van question, ford winstar, circuit failure

Question
Abs and brake light steady on, comes on and stays on, sometimes 1 mile from home. sometimes after 1 hr of driving. sometimes not at all until you park and take off again. once on, it stays on full time until shut off.
Scanned port.
Pulled codes OBD2: c1185,c1198,c1194,c1246,c1250, c1254,c1242, c1214, c1210. C1185 is a relay output problem, is the relay inside the module?
question: Does this sound like a ABS module gone bad ?I don't want to spend 300 beans on a new one and be wrong.
Thanks Dave ! in advance for a response.

Answer
c1185 - Power Relay Output Failure
c1198 - LF Isolation Valve Coil Circuit Failure
c1194 - LF Dump Valve Coil Circuit Failure
c1246 - RR Dump Valve Coil Circuit Failure
c1250 - LR Isolation Valve Coil Circuit Failure
c1254 - RR Isolation Valve Coil Circuit Failure
c1242 - LR Dump Valve Coil Circuit Failure
c1214 - RF Isolation Valve Coil Circuit Failure
c1210 - RF Dump Valve Coil Circuit Failure

With these codes, it does sounds like your ABS module is bad.
Most dealers would only charge an hour labor to completly diagnosis this, a small price to pay.

Here is the pinpoint test for code c1185 with more than one valve DTC set:

Measure the voltage between the ABS module C111, pin 25, circuit 534 (YE/LG), harness side and the ABS module C111, pin 24, circuit 1205 (BK), harness side

If the voltage is greater than 10 volts?
INSTALL a new ABS module

I hope this helps,
Dave
