Ford Repair: Ford early model 3sp w/overdrive, swith, best bet

Question
I have a 1960 F-100 from which I am removing the man 3sp and installing a Warner T-85 with an R-11 overdrive.  However, I purchased the new tranny on EBAY, and the wiring is all cut, spliced, and has no instructions.  The solenoid works, the relay is broken, and I dont know about the governor.  I was curious if you can elaborate on the wiring of a new toggle swith in place of the kickdown swith, as well as the single wire from the governor, and the two wires from the solenoid.  The relay had three terminals, but is broken.  I have purchased an aftermarket kit which comes with wiring, a relay, and a switch for the dash.  I believe the donor was a '57 car, and it is going into a '60 F-100.

Thanks,
Rob

your best bet would be to contact sombody like banner transmission or your local trans guy.without seeing the trans it would be a guess at best as to tell you what needs to be done.there are so many different combos of solenoids.i would also make sure the tranny was not changed from orignal to accomadate the car the person had the tranny in,there is no reason to cut wires on a tranny.be carful what you by off ebay without seeing it first.
