Ford Repair: Taking over..., mustang club, trunk area

Question
Hello there,
I am taking over my father's project of restoring a 1968 Mustang.  My father passed away before he was able to complete it and I don't really know what he had done to it.
I am planning on taking it to a mechanic to get an idea of what they think needs to be done, get it legal in California etc...
I am curious as to what suggestions you have.  I have done limited mechanical work in the past, but am looking forward to being very involved with this project.

Thanks for your help,
Justin

Answer
JUSTIN

i would go over the body.make sure the frame rails, and trunk area are good.the must expensive part of the job is the body work.go over the suspension also, check brakes etc.i would join a local mustang club, as most are willing to help. good luck.
