Ford Repair: 1973 mustang coupe 302, mustang club, mustang coupe

Question
I now have a 1973 mustang that I'd like to restore. It's been sitting in someone's back yard under a tarp for about 10+ years. I know it's going to take time and money and some blood to the car god but I'm willing to go there. My question is: where is a good place to start? I haven't tried the engine yet and the trany leaked out all its fluid. Front end needs all new bushings, etc. plus body work.
Thanks for your time,
Bob Trujillo

Answer

before i did anything i would check the frame rails.go over all of the body work that needs to be done.a car that needs frame rails and paint will cost 5 grand unless your good at body work.i like to get the body done first as that is the hardest for me.good luck and take your time.i would also join a local mustang club as they are willing to help.
