Honda Repair: 88 accord Lxi, poor vacuum, vacuum line

Would you be able to help me with am accord question? It's an Lxi
automatic Amd goes through the gears too fast. It also lacks power when
given half throttle, but takes off like crazy at full throttle, after hesitation.
Check engine light comes on and ecu
is blinking 12 times

Clay, everything i have read and fixed with a code 12 is that it refers to the EGR valve. Whether it is a poor vacuum line or dirty exhaust ports on the EGR valve replace it. You have to start here and fix the check engine code in order to properly move forward and on to the next area.

Have the timing and idle adjusted and set properly too.

Clear the codes after fixing the problem. Either pull the hazard fuse in the under hood fuse box for 30 secs or disconnect the (-) battery cable for 30 secs. Whichever will reset the ECU. Check again and re-evaluate all codes.
