Honda Repair: 2003 Honda Civic Key Dinger, pin switch, open switch

Question
The Dinger that alerts you that keys are left in ignition and door is open has stopped working.  Is there a fuse to check (didn't see it listed in manual)or is it more complicated to fix this problem?

Thom, the ignition key chime and door open switch are directly related to the pin switch that activates the dome light, etc. Your door pin switch needs to be evaluated/repaired. This might be an electronic sensor or manually driven pin switch (like older Honda's) whichever it is not making contact or is rusty or dry or whatever. But, this is the issue at hand that is causing your other problems.
