Honda Repair: 93 Honda Accord / Valve Cover Gasket, valve cover gasket, honda accord

Question
Hi,
I have a 93 Accord SE (4 cylinder))that has a chronic problem.  The valve cover gasket is allowing oil to get up into the "spark plug wells" (the recesses in the top of the valve cover where you access the plugs). I've replaced the gaskets twice myself and then had a shop do it once (in case I was doing something wrong) over the past 15 months. The oil gets over an inch deep on the plugs, so I think there must be something pressurizing the area under the valve cover. I replaced the PCV valve and that didn't change anything... Other than that the car runs great, doesn't seem to burn or use any oil, and the plugs look great, just passed emmission testing and am getting 35+ MPG on the highway...
Any Ideas?
thanks
Jim

Answer
Jim, when you are replacing the valve cover gasket are you replacing the 4 spark plug tubes inside the valve cover gaskets? When you remove the valve cover flip it upside down. There will be 4 round gaskets included in your kit. Dig out the old ones in your valve cover and replace with the new ones. If you are doing this or have done this already replace the valve cover.
