Honda Repair: Intermittant starting., minnesota winters, start car

Question
I have an 89 Prelude Si with 162,000Mi.

Last summer I could start it and leave the house but when I shut it off and tried to restart it (like at the gas station) it would just crank. After a few trys, it would start again like nothing ever happened.

Then it ran fine all winter long. (Minnesota winters)

It started doing it again this summer but worse than last year. Finally it happened to me and would'nt start for about 20 minutes. It had spark at all four wires and I could not find any loose connections. I thought I could smell gas but I was not sure. I gave the gas tank a few smacks with a small hammer and it started right up. I went home and replaced the fuel pump assembly and took it for a drive. It still does the same thing. It always has spark and the fuel filter appears clean and is free flowing.

Any advice?

Answer
check the injector relay box and clean the dizzy cap and rotor, replace spark plugs, test the purge tank is working,(start car and leave for 5 mins and shut it off and open gas cap, if pressure comes out purge is working if not replace and check all hoses on the purge tank)
