Honda Repair: rear wheel bearings, rear wheel bearings, castle nuts

Question
Hello, I was just wondering if if I need any speciality tools to change the wheel bearing hub assmbleys on the back of my 2001 civic sig? I haven't taken the wheels off yet as it is my only transportation, so... I dont know what fastners are used. I also need the torque specs to put the assm.'s in if they are held in with castle nuts. Do you think it would be worth while for me to buy the book from the dealer? Or can you tell me? I hope to sell the car soon and I'm trying not to spend much more on it. Thanks Rob.

Answer
Rob:
Wheel bearings are not the easiest of jobs to tackle if you have not done a whole lot of work on cars before. When you get it off you will need to take it to a machine shop and have it pressed. I would get a book from an auto parts store, usually about $15-$20, or sometimes you can find a repair manual at a local library. All the specs are there and a step-by-step procedure.
Good luck.
