how do you reset the maintenance required light on a 2005 honda civic. i have done the required maint myself.

I don't have anything on a '05 that would tell me. If you have your owner’s manual it would be in there. I have a '00 and there is a "sel" switch on the right side of the dash, you press and hold it in and turn the key to the II position, do not start car and hold switch until the light goes off. This would work if they have the same type of set up.
