Honda Repair: Loud noise (metal crackling) when AC is ON @ low RPM, temperature gauge, system water

Question
No noise when my A/C is off, rpm is 1100 but when I turn on A/C, rpm drops to 600 to 800 and noise starts.  As soon as I press the gas, increasing RPM, noise will be gone.  During stops as long as rpm is low, noise comes back. what seemed to be the problem? compressor is newly replace and a/c is working and cooling properly? is there a problem with the water pump? Thanks!

Answer
Rodel:
You may have a problem with the connectors that go to the compressor that raise the rpm's when A/C is turned on. If your temperature gauge is reading hot that would indicate a problem in your cooling system (water pump included).
Good luck
