Honda Repair: 2001 Honda Civic clicking noise while braking, honda civic, july 23rd

Question
I had my brakes inspected and replaced the pads on July 3rd. But a few days later I noticed a clicking noise everytime I applied the brakes. I took my car back to the repair shop on July 23rd and was told the noise was from 2 warped motor mounts (front & side mounts), so I had those replaced. The noise went away for a few days, but yesterday I started hearing the clicking noise again. The clicking is only when I brake -- not from steering. What could be making this noise? Is it just normal wear & tear noise? My mileage is pretty high for a 2001 at a little over 116K miles..

There could be something loose or broken in the front end that is part of the suspension that is causing the noise. I would say that since you just started hearing the noise that it is not normal. Take the mechanic out with you and let them hear what you hear.
Good luck.
