Honda Repair: Honda Accord Flooding, excess gas, honda accord

Question
I just replaced the spark plugs, spark plug wires, rotor, and cap on my 91 honda accord LX.  2.2 L engine. I replaced them because first of all the spark plugs were completely covered with oil and the spark plug wires were all messed up, and second I thought it was the reason my car woudn't start. I also replaced all the gaskets.  Once I replaced them the car started OK, but eventually the car started spluttering worse and worse.  The next day it wouldn't start again.  I then checked the codes and it gave me 4 quick blinks.  I checked the map sensor, and the TDC/CRANK/CYL sensor which both came out normal.  I then took my spark plugs back out (all of them) and they were wet with a slight bit of oil which I believe is from the residual oil that drained into the chambers from replacing the plugs and gaskets originally. While the plugs were out I checked the spark and they were all good and I turned the engine over several times trying remove excess gas from the engine.  I cleaned the plugs and put everything back together but it still wouldn't start.  I could smell a strong gas smell.  I took the plugs back out, cleaned them and left them out over night to dry the cylinders shafts out. I put them back in the next day and still I get nothing.  The engine still turns over but the car won't start. I also still smell a strong gas smell.
I think it just keeps flooding.  Does it usually occur in all the cylinders like this? I'm not pushing the gas when I try to start the car either. Can this be my problem for the car not starting?  What can I do?  Please help me if you can.  My last choice is to take it in to a shop but I'd rather do what I can first.
Thank You.

Richard:
Sounds like there are major problems with your engine. The oil on the plugs indicates that oil is passing to the cylinder. It would also seem as though you have lost compression and that is why now the plugs are soaked in gas. You would want to do a compression test first to see if in fact you have a problem with your pistons, rings, valves or head gasket. I think at this point you may just have to take it in and be prepared for some very bad news (hope I'm wrong).
Good luck. Let me know how it turns out.
