Honda Repair: 1993 Honda Accord, air control valve, solenoid valves

Question
Second hand information from my brother in Georgia.  He claims his car will not hold an idle when it is in gear (auto trans). Obviously, there can be a number of problems but is there a most common problem with this make and model?

Thanks,
Matt

Answer
For this problem I would have to say that there is lots of possibilities but mainly check one of the solenoid valves called the primary fuel cut off valve try jiggling that around and see if it will hold the idle with that if not check timing sometimes that can also be relative to the problem. If not it can be the idle air control valve try those troubleshoots out and let me know.
