Honda Repair: Rear Brakes, rear brakes, honda accord ex

Question
I'm trying to replace the rear brake pads on my 2000 Honda Accord EX.  When I remove the caliper I cannot compress the plunger back into the caliper to make room for the new pads.  Can you tell me how I can do this?  Thank you.

Answer
Brandon,
To squeeze the piston back inside the caliper, you need to twist and push in on the piston. Turn the piston clockwise with a big screwdriver if you do not have the correct tool to do so. A large prybar works good for this.

Good luck with that.
