Hyundai Repair: 1997 hyundai tiburon fx, hyundai tiburon, window switch

Question
I put my passenger window all the way down and it won't come up now, you can hear the motor going but the window does not come up. How do you take off the passenger door panel to look at what's wrong with the window??????

Answer
The most likely scenario is that the cable as come loose from the regulator, requiring the regulator to be replaced.  If you have a small flashlight that will fit into the window opening crack, you may be able to see whether this is the case without removing the door panel.

To remove the door panel:
-- Remove the inner door handle bezel
-- Remove the window switch
-- Remove the inner triangular cover by the mirror
-- Remove the plugs in the door pull grip
-- Remove the two screws in the pull grip
-- Remove the remaining screws from the door panel.  (It's been a while since I've removed one of these panels, so I don't recall the specific locations of all the fasteners.  Be sure to look around well for any that are hidden.  There may be one behind the window switch.)
-- Once all the screws are removed, you should be able to pull out on the bottom of the door panel and unsnap it from the door.  Once completely unsnapped, it should lift up off the door.
