Question
just recently had all my keys stolen and i had to go the dealership and since i went and gotten the new key my car will not start but i didn't buy a new alarm clicker. is the key for that model car coded?

Answer
There is no transponder in the key.  Most likely, the alarm is still armed.  To disarm the alarm:

1.  Enter the vehicle.  The alarm should sound and flash the hazard lamps.
2.  Turn the key to the start position and release to the on position just as if the engine had actually started.
3.  Wait 30 seconds.  This will most likely be about 10 seconds after the alarm stops sounding.
4.  Start the engine.  If the engine does not start, return to step 2.

The alarm is now disarmed and will not re-arm until the vehicle is locked with a remote or the battery is disconnected or discharged.
