Chrysler Repair: instructions for changing the oil pan 99 sebring, powertrain control module, oil drain plug

Question
QUESTION: I have a substantial leak in my oil pan, I can see it dripping! How difficult is that to replace DIY? Also, could that be the cause of the engine light when raising RPM's? Car has been chugging insteading of running so I haven't been driving it. It idles at around 1RPM and is steady and quite but as soon as I give it gas...I get the engine light and it dies. Still getting an oil reading on the stick so its not empty. Could replacing the oil pan fix both issues?

ANSWER: no the check engine light is not related U will need to have the codes scanned for that  and what engine size do u have?
