I've got 97 Lantra(Lsi) It takes 10 or 15 attempt to start the engine and when engine gets warm starts hunting i mean rev goes up and down on the idle.
please help

Answer
In regard to the starting, I'll need to know whether the starter cranks the engine to send you in the correct direction.

Hunting idle is typically an indication that too much air is being allowed into the engine when the engine control module (ECM) is trying to keep it at idle.  This could be caused by a held open throttle plate, a vacuum leak, or a defective idle actuator.  The cause of the hunting idle could also be the cause of the starting difficulties.
