Hyundai Repair: 2008 hyundai accent brake lights, hyundai models, hyundai accent

Question
My son was driving my car last week when he noticed all the brake lights not working.Ichecked the fuse and its ok and I checked the bulbs and they seem fine; what else could the problem be?

Answer
The brake switch is a common failure on this model year Accent.  This same switch is under recall because of its high failure rate in numerous other Hyundai models.  I've no idea why the Accent wasn't recalled as well.  

If you have less than 60,000 miles, take it to the dealer for warranty service.
