Hyundai Repair: Airbag lights, technical service bulletins, air bag

Question
Hi.  I own 2 Kias - a 2004 Optima and a 2005 Sedona minivan.  Each about 75,000-80,000 miles. Both have been excellent vehicles but the airbag lights recently came on  for both.  Seem like quite a coincidence.  I could not find any recall information for this problem.

I know I need to bring them in for service, but I was wondering if you knew of any widespread problems like this?  Thanks, Scott

Answer
The Optima is the same basic car as the Sonata, and there are no recalls for air bags on the 2004 Sonata.  The most common problem I've seen in this vehicle has been poor contact in the side air bag connectors under the front seats.

The 2005 Sedona doesn't have a comparable Hyundai model, so I checked ALLDATA for relevant technical service bulletins and found none.
