Answer
On the Hyundai, the green wire supplies power at all times, and the black wire is switched to ground by the horn relay when the horn button is depressed.

On the Escort, the horn is grounded at all times through the bolt, and the power is switched on and off by the horn relay.

I see two potential solutions that will allow the Escort horn to function on the Hyundai:

1.  Wire in an additional relay at the horn that is switched on and off by ground but provides power to the horn.  You could do this by running the green and black wires to opposing sides of the relay coil, the green wire also to one side of the relay contact, and a wire from the other side of the relay contact to the horn terminal.

2.  Mount an insulator (such as a block of wood) to the horn mounting hole and then mount the horn to the insulator (making sure the horn and bolt don't touch the bolt attaching the insulator to the car).  Then connect the green wire to the horn terminal and the black wire to the bolt attaching the horn to the insulator.
