Hyundai Repair: 2002 hyundai santa fe, hyundai santa fe, road surface

Question
i had the front end aligned about 2 weeks.  the car now drives straight and does not pulling to the right anymore, but every once in a while it will jerk to the right. any ideals why? thanks

Answer
There are a number of possible causes, Philip.  The problem could be with the brakes, the steering rack, a hub bearing, or other suspension components.  It could even be simply due to the road surface.

I can probably eliminate some causes if I have more information.  Can you tell me the following about when the problem occurs:

-- does it happen only in one place or a small number of locations?  If so, is there a road surface issue shared by these locations?
-- does it happen primarily when turning?  If so, which direction?
-- does it happen primarily when braking?
-- does it happen at a particular speed or range of speeds?
