Hyundai Repair: 2005 Sonata Fuel Filter, tea bag, o ring

Question
I've been unsuccessful in finding the fuel filter on my 05 Sonata.  Local parts dealers don't list it.  So, I bought a replacement from an Internet parts supplier.  Their web site said it was located in the fuel tank.  However, I pulled the pickup/pump assembly out today and found no filter.  All I see is the screen (looks like a tea bag), the black plastic pump and the sending unit.  The supposed replacement filter is a Bosch #71514.  It's about 2" diameter and 4" long with a female flare fitting on each end.  Something that size should be kind of hard to miss.  I followed the fuel line from the tank to the injector rails and see nothing that looks like a filter.  Please clue me in.  If it makes a difference, the engine is a V6.  Thanks in advance.

Answer
Hello Gene,
That black plastic you see is the filter. Pump is attached to it and hidden inside of it. Seperate that black filter from the other components and you will see the pump inside. You will be able to slide the pump out from the down side. Do not forget to switch all the o-rings to the new filter. Return lines has o-ring and also pump has a thick black o-ring. Inspect old filter after you remove everything to see if there is any o-ring left .
