Hyundai Repair: 2000 Sonata, last ditch effort, hyundai sonata

Question
I asked about A Hyundai Sonata and you told me about a site to go look (www.hmaservice.com). The problem is I do not have Adobe Professional 8 and $449.00 is a little steep in price for me to just buy. Wandering if there were some other place or some other way to obtain this info.

Answer
The software you need should be downloadable for free.  If you haven't done so, go to the "site requirements" link on the front page of the site.  It'll have links for just about everything you'll need but might not have.

You don't need Adobe Professional, that has much more than you'll probably ever use.  You do, however, need the Adobe Acrobat reader.  When you follow the link to the Adobe site, be sure to stay with the basic downloads and not go to the downloads for professional editions.

I've also heard people say that they've had success e-mailing to themselves those things they cannot see on the website.  You might try this as a last-ditch effort.

I know of no other place where you can obtain free service information.  Alldata, for the most part, has good information, but it's not organized as well as the Hyundai site, and you'll pay quite a fee for Alldata.  Also, most repair manual publishers haven't published manuals for your car.  You should be able to purchase the factory manuals, but you'll also find that quite pricey (although not as much as the $449).
