Hyundai Repair: 95 sonata pass. door will not open, door latch, release lever

how do i get the door panel off to access the door mechanism on the passenger side with the door still closed.  my door will not open by either handle inside or out. i took off the inside handle from the panel and it is still attached to the mechanism

When the door will open from neither the inside nor outside, the door latch is usually the problem.  

To get the door open, you'll need to use a slim-jim or similar device to go down inside the door and activate the release lever on the latch itself.  If you cannot accomplish this, you'll need to break the door trim panel to get inside the door and get it open.
