Hyundai Repair: Driver side view mirror replacement, electric mirror, mirror glass

My 2006 Accent driver side mirror is cracked...literally the mirror not the molding. I was told by the dealership that the mirror itself cannot be changed because I have an electric mirror. Is this true? I know most of the time you can pry out the mirror and it pops out...then snap a new one in.
What do you think?

The mirror glass is available separately, so I'm sure it's intended that you'll be able to replace just the glass.  I haven't replaced one on an '06 Accent, but any late model Hyundais have been a simple matter of snapping the old glass off and the new glass on like you describe.  I'm showing part# 87611-1E100 for the driver's side electric mirror glass (with heater).
