what is the procedure to r and r the ignition key lock cylinder ?

Answer
1.  Remove the steering column covers.
2.  Insert the key and turn the lock to the "on" position.
3.  Depress the locking pin in the ignition lock housing and pull out on the cylinder using the key.

Once you have a new lock cylinder coded to the new key, you can reinstall by turning the lock to the "on" position, depressing the pin on the lock, and pushing into the housing.  Then reinstall the steering column covers.
