Hyundai Repair: crankshaft position sensor replacement, crankshaft position sensor, crank angle sensor

Question
I own a 2000 Hyundai Sonata, V-6 2.5 litre engine. My car was diagnosed with a bad crankshaft position sensor. Alldata shows me that the sensor is located behind the timing belt cover. Does the replacement of this sensor merely require the removal of the timing belt cover or do I need to remove the timing belt and gears, etc.? Also, do I need to replace the crank angle sensor and TDC sensor as well? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Answer
The crankshaft sensor bolts into the side of the block behind the starter.  The easiest way for a do-it-yourselfer to access is probably to unfasten the front exhaust pipes from the manifolds, lower the exhaust, and then unbolt and lower the starter.

There's little reason to replace the camshaft (TDC) sensor while doing this job.
