my 2000 hyundai accent 1.5 engine was running badly so i told it was the spark plugs so i changed them and while changing them i noticed that one of the spark plugs had quite a bit of oil on it what can cause this and is it something major.  thankyou

It's likely that the spark plug with the liquid on it was in a misfiring cylinder and what you saw was due to the misfire.  If your car is now running normally and the problem doesn't resurface with the new plugs, there's no need to worry about the oil.
