QuestionI just bought a 2001 Accent. My parents bought me a car cd player for christmas, so I need to know how to get the tape player and radio out of there. How should I go about that?
Answer1. Open the glove box and empty.
2. Press inward on the sides of the glove box and lower past the stops.
3. Disconnect the fresh/recirculated air cable from the blower box.
4. Disconnect the temperature and mode control cables from the left side of the heater box behind the dash.
5. Remove the two Phillips screws accessible through the cup holder.
6. Pull out the center dash panel and remove, disconnecting the electrical connectors.
7. Unbolt and remove the radio.
