Hyundai Repair: timing beltt santa fee 2.7, timing belt tensioner, truck mechanic

Hello,i am a heavy truck mechanic. do you advice me to replace the timing belt an my wife her santa fee my self? or am i better off to go to a dealer? I do have my own tools.  Thanks, Neal [cornelis].

If you've done timing belts (or anything involving timing a camshaft) before, there's not much special about this job.  I'd recommend replacing the timing belt tensioner with the belt.  As a heavy truck mechanic, I'd expect you'll have a pretty easy time with this job.
