Hyundai Repair: replacing tail light, hyundai elantra, phillips screws

Question
I was wondering on how to replace the drivers rear tail light on an 01 hyundai elantra 4 cylinder.  I bought the light bulb but have no idea on how to switch it out with the old one and i misplaced the owners manual.  Could you please help?
Thank you,
Mitch

Answer
Remove the trim panel inside the trunk just in front of the lamp.  It should be held in place by one or two Phillips screws.

Then remove the three 8mm nuts holding the lamp in place.

Next, pull the lamp straight out toward the rear of the vehicle.  This may be difficult.  There's an alignment and retaining pin where the fourth nut would be if it were present.  If the lamp won't pull out, whacking the plastic seat for the pin from inside the trunk with a wrench may snap the retaining pin loose.

Then simply remove the socket from the lamp and replace the bulb.
