Question
The rear door won't open from the inside. Have open from the outside. Is there anything special needed to take the door panel off and to repair?

Before you take anything apart, check your child safety lock.  It's possible it was bumped when someone got in/out of the car.  

If you do need to remove the door trim panel to have a look, it's not that difficult.  You'll need a small screwdriver or pick to remove the covers from the screws.  And you'll need a #2 and #3 Phillips screwdriver to remove the screws.
