Hyundai Repair: car batty, blown fuse, coinsidence

Question
My car Batty ran down as I left my lights on. I had it jumped so now it starts, but the radio doesn't seem to work.Is that just a coinsidence? I've driven off & on for several days now & the car starts fine. Do the radio and lights work off the Batty when its running or only if the car is not started? Could the Batty be so low that it would start the car, but the radio would not work or for some reason is it a fuse. The radio goes on but not the display & it will not play.!! whats up/ Help THANKS!!!I had the batty checked & they said it was O.K, but low

Answer
You should start by checking your fuses.  It's possible you have a blown fuse causing the radio to not work.  If all the underhood and interior fuses are okay, you should (depending on the year and model of your car and which radio you have) remove the radio and check the fuse in the back of the radio.

The radio should work off the alternator or battery, so that's not the issue.
