Auto body repair & detailing: filling leftover holes in rear quarter panel, rear quarter panel, mitsubishi eclipse

Question
I have 98 mitsubishi eclipse and i am planning to take the  rear spoiler off of it. However when it is removed there are about 5 holes left over in each rear quarter panel. how would i go about filling the holes with body filler instead of welding or would welding be the only way? The holes are only about an inch big. Any help would be very appreciated. Thanks.

Answer
You must cut a peace of metal a little bigger than the hole the same shape and hold it up on the inside of the hole and weld it from the outside. A good ten or twelve welds from the outside and maybe three or four on the inside should do it. Then grind the metal and apply fiberglass, then bondo, then primer, then paint.
